A comprehensive systematic scoping review for physiotherapy interventions for people living with long COVID

Background: A diverse spectrum of long COVID symptoms (LCS) have the scope physical rehabilitation. Due to limited resources, very little is known about physiotherapy and rehabilitation interventions for LCS their clinical application. This study aims explore role in management musculoskeletal, neurological, cognitive, cardiorespiratory, mental health, functional impairments LCS. Methods: The was a systematic scoping review literature published between April 2020 July 2022. Results: 87 articles were extracted followed by standard process Preferred Reporting Items Systematic reviews meta-analysis (PRISMA) extension Scoping (PRISMA-ScR). included studies had 3223 population. All types primary secondary retrieved except qualitative studies. evidence evaluated an appraisal scoring tool guidelines “Enhancing Quality Transparency health Research (EQUATOR) network”. papers mean score 0.7807 on 0 1 scale (SD 0.08), minimum protocols (0.5870), maximum Cohort (.8977). Sixty seven (67) evidence-based documented from 17 categories. Conclusion: LCS can be treated physiotherapy, exercise, cardio-respiratory, at home or setups such as care settings in-person telerehabilitation.
